Sir WaYnE continued walking, thinking what were his options left. Bak Chor Mee, Fish & Chips, Carrot Cake... ... ...

After 2 rounds around the castle (aka neighbourhood), it seemed that all signs pointed to one direction- McMonster. Not wanting to succumb to McMonster so easily, Sir WaYnE pulled out his SOC (aka Sword of Contacts aka handphone) and sent signals(sms) to 2 of his fellow knights of the Star Table, Knight Juicy Paint and Knight Donald Callcentre. Unfortunately they were busy with their own affairs and could not aid Sir WaYnE.

McMonster: See, no choice and nowhere. Come, for here, Fillet-o-Fish & Co are waiting for you!
Sir WaYnE: erm... that sounds not a bad option....Noooooo....NO WAY!

Taking a deep breathe, Sir WaYnE gathered all his might, walked passed McMonster and snubbed his "offer". At that very split second, Sir WaYnE knew that he had triumphed over McMonster.

He breathed out a sign of relief and uttered to himself: For I am His Warrior of Victory.
In the end, Sir WaYnE found himself in good company of Chao Kuay Teow and Fish Mee Sua(Bee Hoon). Cheers!

i like to take pictures since young. Think its quite cool to be a photographer, taking pictures now and then and especially during ppl's wedding day. I still remembered how i admired the photograper work attitutde during my cousin's wedding. Think i was only a 8 yr old then.

Though i don take breathtaking ans stuning picuters like younjian, but i do admit my phototaking skills are not that bad either.(juz look at e pics taken by TnG, haha). I owned 3 camaras. Canon Ixus IS 800 is the latest addition.

Due to my interest in taking pics, i always bring along my camara during special occasions, eg freinds' bdae party. Snapping pics after pics continously. As time goes, i got lots and lots of pics in my storage. But when i really take a close look at these pics, i seldom see my photos in them! haiz....

NDP tickets

eh...don get me wrong... "U" refers to Singapore!!!

ZT called mi yesterday and told me he got a pair of NDP tickets! So, he asked if i am interested. Of course! I love watching NDP live! And i don't mean live on tv ok! I mean watching it at the kallang stadium or at the Padang. Somemore it's not a preview, it's the actual show. And, this will be the last time NDP that's going to be held in Kallang Stadium! They going to tear down the stadium and build a new one. So, how can I miss it?!

I remembered the last time i went for a NDP show was back in primary 5? Or primary 4? Or secondary 2? Forget, it's just long long time ago. Looking forward to watch it again!

Mizuno Wave Run 2006

Just came back from Mizuno Wave Run 2006! Haha. That’s really a surprise activity for me, because I don’t really like running. Soccer kakis jio me, so gave it a try loh. The total distance of the run was 10km. And I’m proud to say that I only walked for less than 1km! The remainder 9km was either run or jog. AND I only stopped for a small walk after the 5km mark! My previous record was only 3.5km, haha… Please do bear in mind that I really seldom do running k! Think I had never run so much in my life before loh. I took 1hr 10min 30s to complete the run.

Don’t what motivated me to do that…Haha.

But the run was early, 7.30am! I supposed all runs are held that early bah. Luckily it was held at Hougang Kovan. So traveling was not a problem for me. Honestly speaking, I wasn’t feeling really well this morning I woke up. I felt cold. Hmm…don’t know why. And basically I was on cold sweat throughout the run, an icy feeling surrounded me as I ran, and even after I finished running. In fact after the run, Joos n Alvin told me they felt warm and stuffy! I was like “huh, I feel damn cold throughout loh!” Fortunately, I came back in 1 piece. If not, you can try looking out for this number: 5240 on the headlines of this evening’s newspapers! Ops, touch wood touch wood…

There’s supposed to be a water point at every 2.5km of the run. I only found that out in midst of the run. When I was about to reach 1st water point, I saw a friend of mine also joining the run with his gf. Talked with him awhile…and that’s it…I missed the water point! And I only realized it when my friends told me that there’s a water point at the 2.5km mark just now! Having no choice, I just had to endure through to the next water point at 5km mark. Blur me…

Oh ya there’s 1 thing I felt amused. After finished drinking the cups of water, all I need to do was just to throw the cup along the side of the road. Licensed to litter! Some people took a few sips, and pour the rest onto their heads. I wish to do that too, but I was listening to my ipod mini…so that’s a no for me. Haha, but the part where I just threw the cups onto the side of the road…haha…I felt like a professional competitive runner! Haha…

Overall it’s an interesting experience for me, and I was well satisfied with my performance. Haha. We were even talking about joining the run again next year! Haha

OnN CaN CooK

Some things you can do it yourself, like preparing yourself a nutritious supper! Here's what you need:

1. Chicken filets (choose those skinless type for healthier choice)
2. Broccoli
3. Tomatoes
4. Picnic ham
5. Thousand island sauce
6. Ready made carrot fruit juice

First boil some water, around 750ml to 1L. Add in the broccoli. I personally prefer those soggier or softer or overcooked broccoli, so i add them in 1st. After 3mins, add in the chicken filets. How long i took to boil the chicken filets? I didn't time it! As a gifted young cook, you will know when it's ready! Haha.

When they are done, turn off the fire. Now add in the tomatoes. Tomatoes can be eaten raw, so all you need to do is just to warm it with the hot water. Anyway it's best to eat tomatoes raw, because most of the nutrients and minerals will be killed during the cooking process. After that, scooped them up, put it some cold cut picnic ham(you can boil the ham a while if you don't like cold cut ones) and they are ready to serve!

Don't forget to serve them with thousand island sauce and a cup of carrot fruit juice! Wow! Sedap!

How much nutrition value is this dish, i'm not sure. Maybe Liam can do a calculation for me, he's good at it. But anyway, just remember this:

I finally asked her(cont)

“Angeline, eh…我...er…可以借你的雨伞看一下吗?”

“喔, 好啊.”

Haha. What you all thinking? I just want to borrow Angeline’s umbrella and play with, that’s all. Eh, its not an ordinary umbrella loh. Its made in Taiwan! Angeline is a Taiwanese. She can’t stand the blazing sunrays of Singapore. As long as we are not in the shade, she will flip open her umbrella and shades. Even it’s just for a 8m walk under the sun, Maybe that’s why she got a good skin complexion.

It’s those short type, extendable umbrella. You get what I mean. The thing is, there’s a button at the handle there, when you press, the umbrella will pop out, extends automatically and opens up! Cool right? And when you want to keep it, you press that button again, the umbrella will close like those normal ones do. But this time you need to shorten the umbrella yourself. It’s the part where you don’t need to manually extend the body of the umbrella that amuses me. Just press, “click”. The umbrella extends and opens itself! So convenient right?

I wanted to borrow her umbrella to play with since day 1 I saw her use it. But it’s a bit paiseh to ask her this right? Though Angeline was stunned by my request, still she let me play with it. Glad that I finally asked her! Haha So here goes my chance, “click cluck click cluck…” So 眩 so 吊! Haha. Oei, I really never see this in Singapore before loh. Maybe you all do bah. But not for me. So I was very amazed you see.

Heartening display by 安少

As much had expected, 安少 participated in the Saturday morning soccer fixture at Woodlands Evergreen. It was a surprise called up by the Foo7 Gang initially, considering that 安少 was still struggling to recover from his ankle injury for the past week. His encouraging display this morning certainly wiped out rumors saying he could be out for more days.

Playing through the pain barrier, 安少 did well to score a goal with his weaker left foot. Despite his injury, he played out his heart and soul as he dilligently covered his duties well enough. Hogging along his favourite left side channel, making runs into the box whenever the team attacks and tracking back to offer defensive cover, 安少 is starting to convince many that he will be back to his very best pretty soon. His goal will definitely boost his confidence as we hope he can totally overcome his injury soon and start scoring again.

“You mean he was injured?! You must be kidding. I think it’s him that’s making other players injured just now!” A humorous comment by his teammate, J. Becks.


“It’s heartening to see him play, but it’s quite obvious that he is not 100% recovered. We will keep a close observation on his ankle, especially for the next few days but at the same time, he should not rush things early.” His manager, OwL said.

Though we see no sign him limping, it was clear that 安少 was definitely short of fitness. When asked if he could gear up himself in time for next Sunday’s Mizuno Wave Run, 安少 replied:

“I’m taking part in the fun run anyway. But, we shall see!”

Junyang 独角 Show

Went to DXO to watch Junyang’s music showcase. Quite a crowd there. At first, I thought got seats for us. But nope, that’s a negative. So I stood through the entire show. Neither did I manage to get the prime spots in front. They were mostly occupied by junyang’s fan club members. Luckily I’m still tall enough to get a clear view while standing at the back. Haha.

Junyang sang a total of 6 songs. I was quite eager to hear him sing/rap “I Not Stupid 2” OST <孤军作战> , sadly he didn’t. Frankly speaking, his image looks like Lin Junjie. Hairstyle also the same. If his cheeks are fatter, then really is like a Lin Junjie version 2. I know 2 of them are good friends, still must have their own identity mah.

Junyang’s family and friends were there too. Even Jeff Wang Jian Fu was there! There was a segment where they were asked to go on stage and present some gifts to jungyang, and of course offered him some encouraging words.

There were 2 particular parts which I find it amusing. First, he kickoff the show with singing cum dancing performance. Honestly speaking, he never really danced much. His two dancers beside him did. When later the host, 933 Liyi, asked him how long did he take to practice the dance, junyang answered- 1 month. Wow, 1 month leh, once a week, ½ hr per practice izzit?! I’not saying he dance badly but from the few limited dance moves he had shown, 1 month was a bit aggregating loh.

Second, junyang said he was touched when he heard there was long queue waiting to come in before the show. Eh hallo! DXO was not opened yet at that time, so no choice, we got to queue outside wad… aghem…

Overall he got 1 or 2 nice songs I like(didn’t really hear his songs before this, although his advert keep emphasizing方文山 wrote the lyrics for 1 of his songs!). Still whenever I think of him, I would associate him with Lin Junjie. They are quite similar I think.

I finally asked her le...

Just like what we do normally, as we are leaving, we will walk towards the mrt station or the bus stop. We chat and chat, from school systems to music to books to food to street directory etc etc… There’s this question burning in my heart since day 1 I met Angeline. But this kind of thing…eh… a bit 开不了口 lah. Because I really don’t know what her reactions will be…Still, as we were going to part at the bus stop just now, I finally pluck up courage, took a deep breathe… and…asked…”Angeline…

安少 called up despite injury!

安少 has recceived a surprise called up by Foo7 Gang to play in this saturday's morning fixture at Woodlands Evergreen! This is seen as a bold move as 安少 has been struggling to recover from his sprained ankle. The injury was sunstained during last sunday's kick off with the Soccer Kakis. It was viewed initially that 安少 would be out for only 3 days(see earlier reports). However, a further review on wednesday proved otherwise.

A bolt from the blue was the reaction of 安少's manager, Owl, when told of this call up. Owl simply sees this move as unnecessay. He is afraid that the gruesome fixture could aggravate his current injury. But he said: 'Let's just keep our fingers crossed. And I hope he would reject the call up.'

When contacted, 安少 refuses to comment on his call up. But he does admit that he will be making a trip down woodlands on saturday. For the match or for leisure sight-seeing? 安少 gives a smile and turns away.

Sending LZ Off

Just sent LZ off at airport terminal 2. He's going australia to further his studies. Will be back 1 year later. Wasn't really prepared when the lady(LZ's friend) took the photo. She didn't say "1,2,3" loh. And she was 凶 loh. She cautioned gary stop playing, if not, hard for her to take the photo. Eh, surprisingly this was the widest smile I had among all the photos I had taken!

Another 3 days

安少 will be out for another 3 days due to his slow recovery rate of his sprained ankle. The management is still hopeful of his reutrn to full fitness and be geared up for Mizuno Wave Run 2006.

忘的了你，银芳

Was on our way to wisma world of sports. As we walked past BreadTalk, joos saw someone familiar. Guess who? 银芳!!! She's our pri 5 and 6 classmates. She could recognized joos too. k, as the 2 were talking, up to that moment, i still doono who that lady was! Alvin remembered her. But me...NOPE! Anyway, neither 银芳 could remember me and alvin too... =P

But HELLO! I'm the conductor at the morning assembly since pri 4 onwards ok! Btw, as a conductor, my job is not to give command to bring the school to attention for nation anthem. Conductor means the musical conductor during the national anthem and school song! haha. Although there was no live band, but my purpose there was supposed to guide the school during singing-when to hold on the note, when to cut, when to come in singing etc... Eh i got went through some intensive trainings before i was appointed that role ok! Just go ask liying. She was 1 of the conductors too! The point is, being a conductor for the school was such an attention figure(ard 2 days in a week, i will be up there on stage), how can you not remember me?! haha...

Anyway, although i couldn't recognized 银芳, i could still remembered her mum ok. It may sound funny, but thats what i told her:

"i cannot remember u, but i remembered ur MUM!"

Joos n alvin were nagging me abt my "selective memory" Why would anyone remember the mum but not the person? But I saw her mum often wad. Whereas the last time a saw 银芳 was when i was pri 6. Actually, she didn't really change much bah. Not very sure. But there's 1 thing i am very sure.

She still got a very SWEET voice!

1 or 2 friends of mine consulted me some advice on their love relationships recently. I am certainly more than willing to help my all friends but HELLO!!! Ask me about BGR? Of all people you ask me? A newbie? Greenhorn? Novice? Sorry, I don’t even think I am fit to be tagged with these titles. These terms refer to some1 who has just started or 1 with little experience. Not 1 with NO experience!

But I remembered some1 told me this: 不能太急 更不能不急. Maybe initially both of you have mutual feelings towards each other, if you don’t do anything or too slow in building up that feeling, then this feeling 可能就冷掉了. 一段很好的姻缘也可能就这样错过了.

To me, this type of thing needs both parties to make an effort bah. Who should make the 1st move? There’s no fixed rule. Maybe the society has taught us it should always be guy to make the 1st move bah.

But if its always the same person making the moves and efforts, while the other(even though interested) just sits back, wait and see how, then perhaps its too tiring and a bit unfair to the other party le.

What type of friend do you belong to?

Jogging

Against all odds, i went jogging around my neighbourhood today! Eh...rather tonight. Coz it was 9pm plus liao. Ran 3.5km! Haha. Thats very seldom of me. 1st time ran in the night. It was cooling. Also, it had been years since i ran around my neighbourhood. I would normally run in the stadium. haha. The feeling was very different. It's not so boring. Sometimes i lost count how many rounds i had ran in the stadium. *Had i completed 3 rounds or am i in my 3rd round?* When i was back home, checked up e street directory to see the distance i had ran. Wohoo, 3.5km non-stop without realizing it!(of course i stopped a split sec or 2 when i crossing e traffic lah, i don't own the roads k) I would just stop at 2.4 mark if i am in stadium. Hmm...not a bad start, though compared to alvin, joos, guanji or eddy, still way behind. Haha... Got to start clocking up more distance... haha...

Whatever results

I just got back from joos house. Went there to watch soccer-Germany vs Italy. Alf was there too. Haha. I wanted the germans to win. But, they lost. They conceded 2 goals in last 2mins of extra time. What a pity. I don't like the italians. Till now, i still think the penalty they got against Australia was a scam. That Grroso fell over Lucas Neil purposely to get the penalty. Cheater-Bug! This morning again he was the 1 that scored the 1st goal. Damn him! I quite like the playing style germany had adopted in this world cup. Haiz, being the host, quited wasted that they could not clinch it in their homeland.

2-0 .... but i don't mind the results anyway... haha...

while trying to take out e spectacles hooks(mine is transparent, small 1) out of my homewear specs(i haven taken them out for 1 yr plus liao)... i spolit e spects! ...it was veri tight, i had much difficulty removing them...e more i try e more i pek chek... 一时恼羞成怒下... i twist n turn n pull...argh... end up e plastic cover of e end tip(area where u hook e specs on e ear) broke off! Now that area is exposed, u can see e metal frame of that are...

then i took out my backup homewear specs(those black thick ones)...i don realli feel 100% comfortable wearing that since day 1(its e "newest specs in my collection)...i seldom wear it... not comfortable so muz adjust mah...there goes e twist n bend again... awhile later, e surface of e nose bridge area there(e part connecting e right n left specs) cracked! Der~ WHY?! those its juz a small surface crack, still its an eye sore to mi... haiz stupid mi!

Night of Long Wait

I shall name tonight as e Night of Long Wait... 4yrs...1461 days... wat a wait... n it paid off isn't it? Unlike past opening matches, where low scoring results were a norm, tonight's opening match, Germany vs Coasta Rica , definitely kicked off wif a BANG!

5min into e game n we got e 1st goal of e tournament...who else? Host nation germany of course... 7 min later, rica pulled 1 back... within 20 min, 3 goals in total... u think thats enough? Look at e total goals at e end of 90mins - 6! WOW... 4-2 was e final score line to gremany's favour...

Germany displayed some determined attacking football, but was quite a bit of let down with their backline... they seemed to be ball watching at times! But credit to Rica, whom never gave up throughout 90mins...

At some moment, i thought i was watching Brazil playing... coz germany seemed to be adopting brazil's "u scored 1 against us, we will score 2 against u!" philosophy ...haha... But to ensure that they do have a good chance of going to e final match at berlin, surely germany gotta eliminate those defensive laspes of theirs...

will they able to do that? e world beholds...

World Cup 2006 Kick Off

In 10min time, e world will witness e kick off of e opening match of World Cup 2006...Germany vs Coasta Rica... hooray!!! this will be my 3rd participation in World Cup...of course as a viewer lah... will that be a upset like last yr opening match, where underdogs beat France 1-0? Or will e host, Germany, make a stamp of their authority?

u guys muz have watched or heard abt e Hongkong Bus Uncle... haha.... looks like e short video clip of him venting his frustrations on a fellow bus commuter had made him quite an overnight celebrity in HK, if not, across asia... haha...

this fame of his even earned him a job in a western restaurant... btw thats his 1st job in 10 yrs... wow.......ard sing dollars of 1800 was his pay... they hired him as their public relations/advertising personnel cum waiter...haha...

haiz, 树大招风... on his 2nd or 3rd day of work, 3 guys came to e restaurant n walloped him hard... not happy with wat he had done on e bus incident apparently...

hmm... thats necessary i think... finally got a job liao... why 为难 him leh? let ppl get on wif their life... 这个社会人人都有压力，就不要在给他多点压力了...

well maybe to that 3 guys...e bus incident really haven settled yet ba... 未解决, 未解决!!!!!

u guys got watch superband... well mi have been watching it onli since 3-4 wks ago... find it quite interesting... i like Juz-B n Qinobe... think they r quite unique n have their own identites... oh ya, i donno if u realize that e supporters of 馒头 ditched out pictures of er...i suppose a pix of 馒头 ba... but i 左看右看... e pix juz look like a pau(饱) to mi...i wonder do e fans realize that themselves... haha... realli its a pix of pau wat...

btw 夏日风 was out after yest performance... finalli... fr e judges evaluations, they did not even manage to get a passing mark for yest performance(18/40)... though i think their effort was commendable, but still they realli pale in comparison when compared to other grps... maybe other grps have progress at much much faster rate bah... thus making them look so backward behind...


oh ya... not to forget Lucify too... they look like a jap band isn't it?

its a family event... its a national event... its voting day...

early in e morning 9+ am, my family made our way down to Monfort Sec Sch for voting... there's a quite crowd down there... but worry not, coz there r a lot of marshallers n police officiers stationing... poor they... gotta wait till 8pm then knock off...

there r several queues, its already stated in e polling card which queue u should join...no sweat... anw, i feel like going thru a primary 1 sch orientation down there...with parents, kids n teachers...haha

within half an hr, i'm out of e sch... coming out being a different person... a person that had made his debut voting... a person that had voted once!!!!

gotta go voting tomolo... wow... its my debut general election voting... haha...excited sia...

met a ex neighbour of mine today at fastfood restaurant M, she was working there...seriously speaking i don realli remember her, juz find her rather familiar...in fact she was e 1 that remember mi! She even remembered which floor i staYED n my blk no. n which primary sch i studied...WOW...i was rAther dumbfounded when she blurted out my related particulars, even e patron next to mi was stunned...

"长这样大啦？！ 当兵了啦。。。"

then when i said i don wanna upsize my meal, she offered to upsize it for free n charged mi e price of student meal! mind you, i wAs wearing my no.4 green uniform somemore...luckily e ast manager who collected money fr mi din say anithing... : )

well i felt happy after that, not becoz of e "discounted" meal, but becoz i met an old acquaintance and she recognized mi...u don get to have this chance everyday
